TylerWillman-PRGirbau North America recently added Tyler Willman to its staff as a regional sales manager in training. During his training, Willman will be immersed in all aspects of the company’s internal departments – including shipping and receiving, parts, technical services, customer care, lead fulfillment, and sales. His responsibilities will include daily interface with end-user lead inquiries, distributor lead fulfillment and service request follow-up. Ultimately, this position will lead to a regional sales manager role.

“Tyler is personable, inquisitive and intelligent young professional who picks up laundry industry nuances in a snap,” said Joel Jorgensen, vice president of sales. “His work ethic, charisma and willingness to work as part of a team make him a perfect fit for our company. We’re glad to have him as part of our team and excited to share him with our customers in his eventual role as a GNA regional sales manager.”

Prior to joining GNA, Willman played professional baseball for three seasons in the Oakland A’s organization, as well as serving for two years as an inside sales associate for J.J. Keller & Associates.

Willman, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, said he looks forward to learning more about the laundry industry and developing relationships with GNA distributors. He added that he believes his professional baseball experience will come in handy.

“Baseball teaches you a lot of life lessons that I carry over into my everyday life,” he explained. “In professional baseball, a strong competitive attitude is a must for bringing your ‘A’ game every day. There is always someone looking to replace you, so giving it your all, day in and day out, is the same mindset I use in the workforce today. I very much enjoy being part of the GNA team. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and willing to help with any and all questions.”
