Integrity Laundry Solutions, based in Walla Walla, Wash., recently hosted its first annual Profit Symposium. This educational event – which drew 28 self-service laundry owners and investors from throughout Washington and Oregon – provided presentations and methods for improving vended laundry profits and attracting new customers.

“One of the many highlights of the show was the ability for attendees to spend valuable time with each vendor and presenter,” said Greg Tompkins, president of sales and service at Integrity. “We found that there are many owners/operators looking for new ways to create greater profit. The structure of the Profit Symposium allowed them to learn from industry leaders. We’re certainly looking forward to hosting more shows in the future.”

Highlights of the event included a number of presentations by industry experts that ranged from marketing and payment systems to emerging industry trends.

The presenters and topics included Coin Laundry Association President and CEO President Brian Wallace (“What’s Next? The Future of Laundry”), Elite Business Investments’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing Carol Dang (“Creating Resale Value for Your Store”), Continental President Mike Floyd (“Seven Ways to Make Your Laundry More Profitable”), Continental Director of Marketing Tari Martin (“Marketing Must-Dos”) and Card Concepts Solutions Specialist Megan Marcionetti (“The Great Debate – Coin or Card”).

The Symposium was sponsored by Continental Girbau Inc., LG, the Coin Laundry Association, Continental Creative Services, Hamilton Engineering, High Mark Manufacturing, R&B Wire Products, Card Concepts Inc. and Vend-Rite Manufacturing.

Integrity Laundry Solutions is a full-service distributor of vended, on-premises and multi-housing laundry equipment, serving customers throughout Washington and Oregon.
