Northern California Store Owners Turn Out for Education-Packed Profit Symposium

Taylor Houseman Inc.‘s recent Profit Symposium attracted approximately 40 northern California laundry owners and investors, according to company owner Randy Houseman. During the symposium, which focused on helping self-service laundries improve profits and revenue, several industry experts shared experiences, ideas and tips. The event – which was held at the company’s headquarters in Pittsburg, Calif. – also featured specials on equipment, parts and financing.

“Attendees came away from the symposium armed with pertinent information to better vended laundry sales, while lowering overhead costs,” Houseman explained. “We are grateful to the numerous expert speakers who presented on a variety of topics, including energy-efficient equipment, financing, lease negotiation and marketing.”

Symposium presenters and topics included:

  • Coin Laundry Association President and CEO Brian Wallace, “Trends in Today’s Business”
  • Elite Business Investments Vice President of Sales and Marketing Carol Dang, “Creating Resale Value for your Store”
  • Continental President Mike Floyd, “Seven Ways to Make Your Laundry More Profitable”
  • Hamilton Engineering President Jeff Deal, “Ozonate Your Checkbook”

Co-sponsored by Taylor Houseman and Continental Girbau Inc., the symposium will be held again in 2016.
