TLC Tri-State Laundry Companies, based in Valdosta, Ga., has hired industry veteran Art Roy, who will represent that company’s Vended Laundry Division throughout the state of North Carolina.
Originally from Cleveland, Roy began his career by selling laundry and ware washing chemicals. He eventually moved on to OPL equipment sales and later transitioned to the self-service laundry industry, where he has built laundromats for a number of successful laundry owners.
Most recently, Roy sold vended laundries in the Houston market. And, after 30 years in the industry, he is considered one of the leaders in the U.S. vended laundry business.
Art enjoys spending time with his five daughters and 10 grandchildren, as well as traveling with his wife of 43 years.
