Michael Lombardo Joins California-Based Company

WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems, based in El Segundo, Calif., recently announced that Michael Lombardo has joined the company as its national key accounts manager. In his new position, Lombardo will focus on serving WASH’s national customers while advancing the company’s expansion efforts.

“We’re excited that Michael is taking on this new role at WASH where he will work with the largest users of WASH’s equipment and services, and leverage these partnerships as a catalyst to expand into new markets,” said Paul Cummins, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “With a strong background in commercial real estate, banking and property and asset management, Michael will be an invaluable asset to our customers and to our sales team.”

Lombardo brings more than 20 years of comprehensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate lending, property management, portfolio and asset management, sales operations, and new product development. He formerly held executive management positions at Umpqua Bank (formerly Sterling Bank), a commercial bank based in Spokane, Wash. with assets of more than $20 billion. Prior to that, he served in various management and consulting roles, which included working for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., as well as at several leading regional banks. A licensed real estate broker, Lombardo holds Facilities Management Administrator and Real Property Administrator designations from the Building Owners & Managers Association. He also is a Certified Commercial Investment Member.

“WASH is a dynamic, fast-growing company that I’m excited to be joining as the next step in my career,” Lombardo said. “I’m looking forward to fulfilling the needs of our national customers while applying my expertise to support the company’s growth objectives.”
