CD One Price Cleaners<\/a>, headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., recently announced it had reached a production milestone \u2013 washing and folding five million pounds of laundry.<\/p>\nCD One Vice President of Marketing Jonathon Reckles credited a combination of new stores, the addition of pickup-and-delivery services, and recent marketing efforts with helping the franchise pull off this achievement.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith workers slowly but surely returning to the office and an increase in weddings and other formal events, we\u2019re excited to see more customers through our doors every day,\u201d Reckles said.<\/p>\n
In 2021 alone, CD One reported washing and folding more than 775,000 pounds of laundry.<\/p>\n
\u201cDoing laundry is a chore that most people hate, especially folding,\u201d Reckles said. \u201cThere are so many great things our customers will be able to do with their free time now that we\u2019ve been able to take laundry off of their to-do lists.\u201d<\/p>\n
