This event \u2013 which is scheduled for 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. \u2013 will take place at the state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot <a href=\"http:\/\/laundrycity24.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laundry City<\/a>, located at 5200 Moravia Road.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming free laundry day is just one of a number of successful LaundryCares outreach efforts since the charitable foundation&#8217;s inception. Typically, hundreds of loads of laundry are washed during each of these events \u2013 and the free laundry day in Baltimore certainly will be no exception.<\/p>\n<p>Next month&#8217;s event at Laundry City in Baltimore is part of a larger concerted advocacy program by the LaundryCares Foundation to provide laundry services and education to those in need, and to offer support to communities that have long supported the self-service laundry industry. The foundation was established by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coinlaundry.org\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coin Laundry Association<\/a> in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Free laundry days are the highlight of what LaundryCares does each and every year,&#8221;  said CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace. &#8220;The impact a single load of laundry can make on a family isn&#8217;t lost on us, and it&#8217;s humbling to see the good it does for a community. Our goal is to continue to host free laundry days and to reach more families in need across the nation.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Those interested in giving back to their communities are asked to consider participating in the form of a tax-deductible, charitable donation to the LaundryCares Foundation.
