The LaundryCares Foundation has teamed up with LaunderPay, an all-in-one laundry platform focused on payment acceptance and business management, to launch the “Points for Kindness” donation initiative.
Within the LaunderPay platform, any merchant who activates his or her customer loyalty program will automatically enroll into the Points for Kindness donation program. All laundry orders will have a $1 donation added at checkout. Customers who choose to donate will receive a 1.5x accelerator in reward points for their laundry order. Customers who choose to remove the donation will receive 1x in reward points. Merchants will have the option to match the donation so that the customer and merchant both contribute 50 cents each.
LaundryCares Foundation is a charitable foundation (501c3) whose mission is to provide laundry services and education to those in need. They were awarded the prestigious Rubenstein award from the National Library of Congress as the most innovative national literacy program for 2024.
As part of launching this partnership, LaunderPay is offering every merchant who signs up this month six subscription-free months on their platform. The first five merchants will receive POS hardware (tablet + card reader) for free and every merchant after will receive 50 percent off the POS hardware. This is a maximum savings of nearly $2,000 that could be spent on building or enhancing your laundry business.
