Statewide Laundry Equipment – with offices in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Hialeah, Fla. – held laundromat investment seminars this past October and November. These sessions covered various topics aimed at those looking to get started in the self-service laundry business, including the benefits and rewards of owning a laundromat, the importance of working with a trustworthy distributor, effective store layout and design, and the costs associated with opening a laundry – as well as providing an overview of the history on the $4 billion laundry industry and where the industry is likely headed.
Forty potential laundry investors from all across the state attended the seminars, which were held at the company’s Tampa and Hialeah locations, as well as at the Holiday Inn Universal Hotel in Orlando.
