Aaxon Laundry Systems, based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has promoted Brittany Pettineo to director of marketing, while also adding Amber Perkins as the company’s new marketing coordinator.
Pettineo, who joined Aaxon in June 2014, received a company recognition award this past spring for efforts in a laundry redevelopment project, as well as for creating a recent multi-channel marketing campaign.
“Brittany has been invaluable in growing our social/digital and other marketing efforts,” said Aaxon President Frank D’Annunzio. “She has diligently worked with our sales and operations team to learn about the company and expand our marketing capabilities. We’re happy to see her grow here at Aaxon.”
Perkins comes to Aaxon with four years of marketing experience, where she worked in agency, small-business and startup environments – designing ads, writing content for various platforms and managing social media accounts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida.
“I’m ecstatic to be part of such a great organization and to work with people who are as enthusiastic about what they do as I am,” Perkins explained. “Every day here is different for us in the marketing department. We manage different brands, each one with its own unique voice and audience. It’s exciting.”
“Amber is a great addition to our team,” Pettineo noted. “Her experience in marketing will add a new dimension to the work of Aaxon and our other brands. I am excited to have her on board.”
