Alliance Laundry Systems recently expanded its direct distribution in the western portion of the United States with the acquisition of Alliance Laundry Equipment, headquartered in Salt Lake City.
“Alliance Laundry Equipment has done an excellent job of representing our Speed Queen and UniMac brands with distinction,” said Craig Dakauskas, senior vice president, Americas Commercial for Alliance Laundry Systems. “The Salt Lake City area continues to grow at a rapid rate and presents significant opportunities for our products.”
The distributorship will become part of the Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution West Region, while maintaining its Salt Lake City office.
Founded in 1955, Alliance Laundry Equipment has provided its customers with a full-service approach that includes experienced in-house installers and service technicians with 150 years of combined experience. Headed by CEO/General Manager Matthew Christensen and COO/CFO Jeffrey Christensen, the distributor has served laundromat owners, new investors, and managers of on-premises laundries in a variety of facilities throughout Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and Idaho.
“Jeffrey and I are proud of our team’s dedication to serving customers at the highest level,” Matthew Christensen explained. “We are excited that standard will continue after this sale to the global leader in commercial laundry equipment.”
