Automatic Laundry, headquartered in Newton, Mass., has promoted Scott Scarpato Jr. to the position of chief operating officer. For the last six years, Scarpato Jr. has worked in numerous roles within the company, including field service, logistics and finance.
Since joining the company full-time in 2016, he has improved the overall efficiency of the logistics operation, helped to double the capacity of the company’s distribution capabilities and professionalized the lease administrative function between the sales and finance organizations, according to Automatic Laundry.
Scarpato Jr. is an active member of the Multi-Housing Laundry Association and is active in the city of Newton with regard to issues critical to the community. Prior to joining Automatic Laundry, he worked at Oracle and Localytics.
