In light of the current health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak and related government actions within the state of California, the Coin Laundry Association has announced the cancellation of its upcoming Excellence in Laundry Conference.
The event – which had been scheduled for this coming May at Rancho Bernardo Inn located in San Diego – has been postponed until May 17-19, 2022, at the same property.
Of course, all who have registered for this event will be fully refunded their registration fees, and the Rancho Bernardo Inn will automatically cancel all room reservations and refund those charges.
To fill the sizable void left due to the unexpected cancellation of this popular biennial educational and networking event, the CLA is currently working with some of the event’s presenters on possible webinars and other virtual content. In addition, the association will be innovating new ways of sharing the latest product information within the coming weeks.
“We are disappointed to miss this opportunity to gather as an industry in May, but the work that our industry is doing now to support our local communities comes first,” said CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace. “The CLA will continue to inform and support the laundromat industry through these uncertain times in the wake of COVID-19. I’m very proud of the laundromat community and its incredible response to this pandemic.”
Above all, the health and safety of its members, as well as everyone within the vended laundry industry, will always be the CLA’s top priority.
