The Coin Laundry Association is celebrating a “Month of Thanks” in November to show its appreciation for its members and the industry. With November being the month we celebrate Thanksgiving and with the challenging year this has been, the CLA thought this month would be the ideal time to celebrate laundromat owners and the vended laundry industry in general.
“We would like to kick off our ‘Month of Thanks’ by showing our appreciation for laundry owners and their staff members who have stepped up to take care of their customers and their communities,” said CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace. “More than 120,000 laundromat attendants joined grocery workers, delivery drivers and other American workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, willing to serve their communities in the face of this continuing crisis.”
Laundromats are essential, and this has never been more evident than during the current pandemic. The CLA put together this video to recognize its members and their staff, who risked their health to serve their communities.
The CLA encourages you to visit its social media pages and share why you are thankful. Please use #CLAMonthofThanks in your post to be eligible to win a gift card at the end of the month.
