Next month in Las Vegas, while making your rounds of the exhibit floor at Clean 2017 and checking out the latest and greatest products the industry has to offer, be sure not to miss your opportunity to meet and chat with three of the laundry business’s leading experts.
PlanetLaundry, located at Booth #811, will be hosting Q&A sessions with the following industry leaders:
• June 5 (1-3 p.m.) – Michael Sokolowski, chief operating officer of the Coin Laundry Association
• June 6 (1-3 p.m.): Dennis Diaz, chief executive officer of Spynr, Inc.
• June 7 (1-3 p.m.): Jeff Gardner, owner of The Laundry Doctor
Michael, who is a veteran of the self-service laundry business and a former store owner, will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding getting into the business. If you’re looking to purchase or build a laundry, this is your opportunity to discuss your ideas and gather information from a professional with more than 25 years in the industry.
In addition, Michael will be presenting “Your First Laundromat: 10 Keys to Success” on June 8 at the show. This fast-paced session is a must-see for all potential investors and new store owners.
Dennis, a regular columnist in PlanetLaundry magazine, would love to chat with you about how you market your laundry operation. He is a leading authority on digital marketing, who helps entrepreneurs employ cost-effective strategies that drive sales, build awareness and create promoters for their businesses.
He has developed a promotional strategy that he refers to as the “WASH Cycle,” which is an acronym for Website Sales Funnel, Audience Development, Search and Social Marketing, and How Did You Do? This online marketing approach has helped several store owners to focus their efforts, to turn strangers into customers and promoters of their businesses, and to track it all.
Jeff – who pens PlanetLaundry’s popular, long-running “The Laundry Doctor” column – is looking forward to tackling all show attendee questions regarding stain removal, garment care and wash-dry-fold.
He also will be involved in presenting two educational sessions during the show: “Dry cleaners & Laundromat Owners: Partnering for Future Profits” on June 6, and “Maximizing Labor Efficiency in Your Wash-Dry-Fold Operation” on June 7.
