Joel JorgensenContinental Girbau Inc. recently recognized Joel Jorgensen for 20 years of service. Jorgensen, vice president of sales, joined the company in 1997 as regional sales manager and later served as director of sales and marketing before taking on his current role in 2006.

“Joel has been a key contributor to the growth of the company during his tenure at Continental,” said President Mike Floyd. “His vision for opportunity has been a leading component to Continental’s aggressive approach to the market.”

During his career, Jorgensen has guided Continental sales, marketing and service operations.

“He’s been heavily involved in the rapid growth of the company in all geographic territories and market segments,” Floyd added. “Joel has also contributed greatly to Continental’s product development, branding approach and strategic vision.”

Jorgensen, who has 23 years of laundry industry experience, is a regular contributor to industry trade journals, a member of the Coin Laundry Association’s Board of Directors, and a frequent speaker at CLA seminars and other industry events.

Jorgensen, of Green Lake, Wis., got his start in sales with the Campbell Soup Co. in Los Angeles, after graduating in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications from Dana College in Blair, Neb.
