Continental Girbau Inc., based in Oshkosh, Wis., recently named Geanie Wilson as its new shipping receiving specialist, while Joanne Wilson has been appointed accounting assistant.
Geanie Wilson assists with receiving and the fulfillment of equipment and parts orders, in addition to a variety of other tasks, such as basic parts repair, forklift operation and clerical duties. She previously served 14 years with Generac Mobile in Berlin, Wis.
“I am pleased to join the Continental group,” she said. “I like the small company feel and friendly, welcoming atmosphere.”
Joanne Wilson handles a number of accounting functions, including accounts payable for Continental and accounts payable, invoicing and accounts receivable for Continental Girbau West in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. Most recently, she spent eight years as senior accounts payable specialist at a holdings company in Bethel, Mo. In May 2020, she is scheduled to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration finance-human resources management from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
“When I accepted my position with Continental, I had already done a lot of research on the company,” she explained. “I found Continental had a solid vision and a foundation of integrity. This is what sold me on the company.”
