CSC ServiceWorks has named Jay Epstein its interim CEO.
“I am honored to have been selected as CSC ServiceWorks’ interim CEO,” said Epstein, who most recently served as the company’s chief financial officer. “It is a privilege to be part of a multi-industry-leading company with a long history such as CSC. I look forward to growing the company and achieving new milestones with the CSC team.”
Epstein succeeds Robert M. Doyle, who retired from the company at the end of CSC’s fiscal year on March 31. Epstein will be part of a formal search that will be conducted by CSC’s Board of Directors.
“First of all, I would like to thank Bob Doyle for his 30 years of service to CSC ServiceWorks and the leadership he provided in transforming the company,” said Henrik Slipsager, chairman of the CSC ServiceWorks Board of Directors. “Jay brings more than 20 years of financial, accounting and operational experience to the CEO role. I believe he is the best choice to lead CSC, and I look forward to working with him as CSC continues to grow and lead the industry.”
“I am excited and pleased to turn CSC’s future over to Jay Epstein,” Doyle noted. “I have worked with Jay in his capacity as CFO for nine months, and I am convinced that his experience and strong core values make him the perfect choice to lead CSC forward.”
Prior to joining CSC, Epstein was the senior vice president and CFO for NewPage Corp. from 2011 until the sale of the company in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
CSC ServiceWorks has more than 1.4 million laundry machines in service, according to the company.
