More than 180 attendees packed the Curbside.2024 Conference in Long Beach, Calif. This inaugural event was open to all who are interested in starting or growing a wash-dry-fold and laundry pickup-and-delivery business.
The conference featured several speakers who are successful within the laundry business and who shared their expertise on how to attract new customers, win commercial accounts, enhance one’s online reputation, drive more website traffic, increase order sizes, boost ordering frequency, leverage online advertising techniques, and utilize touchpoints to enhance a company’s brand.
The event was well-received by its attendees:
“This event was phenomenal,” said Maryanna Faulker of Prime Ventures. “They gave tactile items and tasks to work on to grow your business at any stage. I am so happy to have been there.”
“At Curbside 2024, the speakers went in depth and behind the scenes into their operations,” explained Waleed Cope of The Soap Box. “They showed us strategies and tactics that they’ve been using to be successful that we can take home and implement into our businesses.”
“Curbside Laundries co-founders Matt and Aaron have made a difference in our lives,” noted Stephanie Staley of We Wash. “They’re making this industry what it is – with podcasts, the conference, and bringing together such talented and nice people. The conference was a lot of fun.”
The Curbside Conference will be held every other year, during “non-Clean Show” years.
“Our company ethos is to provide top-notch laundromat software and also to help elevate the industry through education,” explained Curbside co-founder Matthew Simmons. “We have so many successful clients who are putting their own spin on laundry pickup and delivery, and we wanted to provide them a platform to share their experience with other laundry owners.”
In addition to providing wash-and-fold POS and pickup-and-delivery solutions, Curbside Laundries hosts workshops, webinars, and podcasts to help laundromat owners maximize their profits.
