Curbside Laundries – a full-service SAAS company for laundromats specializing in wash-dry-fold and pickup and delivery – has opened a new facility in Los Alamitos, Calif.
The move was required to meet the company’s business demands, as well as to help facilitate the onboarding of new clients and accommodate hardware setup. Centralizing business operations and equipment warehousing in a larger location will enable Curbside to work seamlessly across all departments, according to the company.
“With our growth projections on a record pace, we needed a larger space to not only handle the additional team members, but also to house point-of-sale hardware so that we always have inventory in stock for our new customers,” explained company co-founder Matt Simmons.
The expansion further enables Curbside Laundries to respond more quickly to laundromat owners’ needs.
“A core promise to our customers is to answer every call that comes in and respond to customer requests within two hours,” noted co-founder Aaron Simmons.
In addition, to ensure a high level of personalized service for its growing list of customers, Curbside Laundries has hired Damien Winkler and Christian Velasco, who will share the responsibility of supporting the more than 500 laundromat owners on the company’s platform.
“Damien and Christian come to us with tremendous customer service backgrounds and business understanding,” Aaron Simmons said. “They are vital additions to our expansion plans.”
In 2022, Curbside Laundries has supported 300,000 laundry customers, two million orders, and 90 million pounds of laundry.
