D&M Equipment Co., headquartered in Chicago, recently hosted a service school that focused strictly on Korean laundry owners in the area. The educational session was conducted by Dexter Laundry’s Shane Palmer, along with local service technician Don Ha.
More than 35 self-service laundry owners attended this event and were able to ask questions of Mr. Ha in Korean. Also in attendance were Rick Case, D&M’s area sales representative for Dexter; D&M owner Joe Frankian; and Benny Sohn, president of the Chicago Korean Coin Laundry Association.
Following the presentation, attendees were treated to a Korean barbeque dinner at the Woori Village restaurant in Niles, Ill.
Frankian said he plans to host similar events for his company’s Korean customers on an annual basis.
