More than 50 laundry owners and operators recently attended D&M Equipment’s annual Dexter Laundry Service Seminar at the distributor’s headquarters in Chicago.
The extensive educational sessions were conducted by Dexter Laundry’s Shane Palmer. In addition to Palmer, the Iowa-based manufacturer was represented by Jim Freeze, president of Dexter Financial Services; Rick Case, area sales manager; Amanda Konczal, director of marketing and customer support; and Casey Stufflebeem, technical support.
Case and Konczal addressed how the new C-Series controls can help reduce water costs with varied programming features; this was a huge topic of interest in the Chicago area, where the city recently announced a massive water rate increase. In addition, Freeze discussed the year-end benefits of equipment purchases to qualify for Section 179 tax deductions, as well as accelerated depreciation.
Seminar attendees were treated to a lunch buffet and raffle prizes – and everyone received a Dexter Laundry goodie bag.
