The 2016 Excellence in Laundry Conference, to be held at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa in southern California, will feature a silent auction from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 18. This auction will serve to benefit the Coin Laundry Association’s LaundryCares Foundation.
Among the many items available to the highest bidder will be:
- A seven-night stay at the Royal Sands Resort in Cancun
- A Green Bay Packers game package
- Drum heads and sticks, signed by drummer Kenny Aronoff
- A 27-inch iMac computer
- A diamond pendant on a white gold necklace
- A Jack London Cabernet Magnum from Kenwood Winery
- A Chicago Bears football helmet, signed by former player Tommie Harris
LaundryCares was established in 2006 by the CLA and its members as a way to give back to the communities the industry serves and to support those who have supported their businesses. The mission of the foundation is to provide laundry services and education to those in need.
