Laundry pickup-and-delivery service HappyNest recently announced the company’s further expansion into Orange, Calif.

“Once again, we have found a great partner who will complement our conversion of Springboard licensees in the Orange County area,” said HappyNest founder John MacKrell. “Rhett Bray comes to HappyNest with pickup-and-delivery experience. Couple that with our existing market presence and a robust marketing initiative, and 2021 will get off to a roaring start. We feel truly fortunate once again to have found a laundromat owner who understands our model, sees the big picture and is excited to build a successful pickup-and-delivery business.”

Bray, who has owned Speedwash Laundromat & Water Store in Orange for the last three years, ventured into the pickup-and-delivery business in 2020 but experienced limited success, so he decided to reorganize and join HappyNest.

“I knew the market for pickup and delivery in Orange County was gaining steam, and I wanted to be a part of it,” Bray explained. “However, I wasn’t sure who was best to align with. After a few months of marketing my delivery service with limited results, I pulled back the reins financially to reevaluate my options. After a consultation call, I was convinced I needed to get on board with HappyNest. From there, the HappyNest team built me an area based on demographics that should be a home run for us both.”
