Laundry pickup-and-delivery service HappyNest has expanded its reach into Omaha, Neb.
“We have several laundry owners who have been using our Springboard platform to manage their local pickup-and-delivery service and who have been very successful growing this piece of their business,” said HappyNest founder John MacKrell. “It makes sense for both parties to come together under one umbrella to grow a national brand. We are fortunate to have partners like Chris Kober – who sees the opportunity HappyNest presents, understands our strategy and can see how it will help him and his business as well.”
Kober owns The Clothes Hamper, which has been serving the greater Omaha and Lincoln, Neb., areas for more than five years and has been offering pickup-and-delivery under the Life Without Laundry brand for the last three years.
“We have been rather successful building our Life Without Laundry brand locally, but I know there is greater opportunity in partnering with a national brand as far as marketing efforts, customer call centers, training and buying power,” Kober explained. “After speaking with John and his team, as well as looking at my monthly costs and growth rate, I came to realize that this revenue-share model made more sense in the long run. My team and I are excited to start building the HappyNest service in Nebraska.”
