KioSoft recently announced that its mobile app for laundry payments – CleanPay Mobile – has surpassed two million users worldwide.
According to KioSoft, the app is a prime example of the growing popularity of contactless alternatives in the market, as indicated by end-user adoption levels, customer satisfaction and the company’s market share worldwide.
The iOS and Android app has gained significant traction in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, in which coin shortages presented new challenges for laundry users. During this period, CleanPay Mobile experienced a dramatic spike in users, jumping from one million to two million within nine months.
The app offers a simple, convenient and contactless way to pay for laundry in both laundromats and residential laundry rooms.
CleanPay Mobile allows laundromat customers or residents of multi-housing units to activate machines via QR code scan or by entering the machine number. The app also enables users to view machine availability, receive alerts when laundry cycles are complete, purchase machine credits and more.
In addition, laundry operators can benefit by offering additional payment options, owning customer data, accessing KioSoft’s cloud-based reporting and management system, and utilizing enhanced mobile management functionality with KioSoft Laundry Manager.
