Laundry Capital – a Rego Park, N.Y., company consisting of the Laundromax and Clean Rite laundromat brands – has announced the grand opening of its first Laundromax location in Texas.
With more than 80 laundromats in the United States, the newest Laundromax, located in Fort Worth, opened its doors in November and is providing special offers such as double-your-money-when-you-load-$20 laundry cards and discounts on wash-dry-fold services.
During the week of December 5, 2023, the new store hosted its soft grand opening, kicking off a community partnership program with events benefiting its inaugural local partners – Harmony Science Academy, Lena Pope’s Chapel Hill Academy, and HOPE Farm.
“If you’re used to the typical laundromat, you’re going to be amazed when you walk through our doors,” said Dale Turner, operator of the new Fort Worth location. “At Laundromax, we are proud to offer our customers a next level laundry experience.”
Each Laundromax facility features more than 100 card-operated washers and dryers, including some 100-pound-capacity machines.
According to the company, their locations feature open spaces equipped with ample laundry carts and folding tables and offer laundry detergent and other supplies for purchase. In addition, Laundromax stores boast free high-speed Wi-Fi; plug-in areas to charge laptops or phones; background music; vending machines; comfortable lounge areas; free parking; and 24-hour locations with security cameras, door access controls, and attendants on duty.
“We know that laundry can be a chore,” Turner said. “But we can make the time you spend in our laundromat as seamless as possible with your life. For instance, with our 24-hour locations, you’ll never have to upend your schedule to avoid missing ‘the last wash’ in the evening. We’re there at your convenience, whenever you need us.
“And, of course, we take safety seriously. We want the mom who is washing the family clothes to feel comfortable, even late at night. At our new location, we’re providing the newest machines with the best technology, and attendants who cater to our customers and don’t just sit behind the counter. Our clients deserve a premium experience and luxury offerings, and we’re proud to bring this level of service to Fort Worth.”
Laundromax added that respect and commitment to the wider community that each laundry location serves are core values for the company. As a result, each Laundromax team seeks out community service opportunities and works closely with the neighboring school system, family and children’s services, and local non-profit organizations to develop events and partnership programs such as laundry card donations, matching laundry card contributions, community wash events, and more.
