The LaundryCares Foundation recently announced that laundry industry veteran Dan Naumann has agreed to join the organization as its executive vice president. His responsibilities extend to the day-to-day operation of the foundation, as well as working to scale up LaundryCares’ governance, budgeting, and committee activities.
Naumann comes to the LaundryCares Foundation following a long and successful career in the vended laundry industry. For more than 25 years, he built a diverse organization, which included a commercial laundry equipment distributorship, one of the nation’s largest independent apartment laundry management companies, and one of the largest chains of laundromats in the U.S., as well as a digital marketing agency focused on helping small businesses grow. During this time, Dan earned a strong reputation for business development and taking great care of customers.
His career in laundry was highlighted by volunteering for the betterment of the industry. Naumann served on the Coin Laundry Association’s Board of Directors for 13 years, including a term as the organization’s chairman. He has earned numerous industry awards recognizing his contributions and was a stalwart volunteer for the Wisconsin Self-Service Laundry Association for more than 25 years. Over the course of his business career, Dan also supported several nonprofits in his hometown of Milwaukee.
“I’m pleased to be joining the LaundryCares Foundation,” Naumann said. “I look forward to working with the Laundry Literacy Coalition and any future opportunities the vended laundries channel can provide to the communities that they serve.”
Established in 2006, the LaundryCares Foundation is a charitable organization administered by the CLA. The LaundryCares mission is to provide laundry services and education to those in need and to give back to the individuals who support the self-service laundry industry.
