Messe Frankfurt has announced the cancellation of Texcare International 2021, which was scheduled for November 27 through December 1, 2021, in Frankfurt, Germany.
Growing uncertainty over the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic led a number of the laundry and drycleaning industries’ top companies – and major show exhibitors – to cancel their participation. In view of this development, the show’s advisory council voted to cancel this year’s event.
“Together with our partners, we worked untiringly to stage Texcare International for the textile-care sector in the autumn,” said Kerstin Horaczek, vice president, technology shows for Messe Frankfurt. “However, a leading international trade fair with a significantly reduced spectrum on display would not do justice to participants’ expectations of the fair as the most important meeting place and innovation hub for the sector. Therefore, we have decided to accept the vote of the advisory council to cancel Texcare International 2021.
“We are extremely sorry about this. At the same time, we are grateful for the ongoing, high level of commitment demonstrated by the sector for its most important trade fair.”
Held every four years, Texcare International is the world’s leading textile-care trade fair, bringing together leading providers of laundry and drycleaning technology with customers from the textile service, laundry and drycleaning segments.
Messe Frankfurt also manages the Clean Show, which is scheduled for July 30 through August 2, 2022, in Atlanta.
