Paychex – a leader in providing human resource, payroll and benefits outsourcing services for small to medium-sized businesses – conducted an online survey of 300 principals of U.S. companies with two to 500 employees. According to the survey results, most business leaders see themselves playing a role in their employees’ COVID-19 vaccinations. In fact, 75 percent of small businesses (10 to 49 employees) and 85 percent of medium-sized businesses (50 to 500 employees) plan to motivate their employees to get the vaccine, in large part because they feel a responsibility as an employer, but also due to the key role the vaccine can have on their businesses’ viability.
