With recent flooding across Louisiana devastating thousands of residents and businesses throughout portions of the state, Pierce Commercial Laundry – based in Mandeville, La. – has announced that it will donate 5 percent of all sales to customers replacing flood-damaged commercial laundry equipment to the American Red Cross relief efforts.
In addition, the company is strongly encouraging others to donate what they can.
“There are so many folks just west of here that are in really bad shape, and I don’t know whether the national media are portraying just how bad it is,” said George Pierce, president of Pierce Commercial. “There are so many families and businesses that have been impacted, and they’re in need of help. But, working together, we are committed to helping fellow Louisianans emerge from this disaster stronger than ever.”
