Standard Change-Makers recently announced new additions to the company’s sales team.
Robert Lessard has been named the company’s new sales representative for Canada. He takes over for Paul Thompson, who retired after 28 years with Standard. Lessard brings extensive industry experience and technical knowledge to this position, having worked for various companies in Toronto, as well as owning and operating his own sales and service company.
Standard also hired Keith York as its new regional sales manager for the eastern U.S. market. York replaces Dan Wagner, who retired following a 34-year career in that position. York has experience in sales and service with Alliance Laundry Systems – where his primary territories included the East Coast and eastern Canada, from Key West to Nova Scotia. He boasts extensive knowledge of the laundry industry and familiarity with many of Standard’s current distributors throughout the eastern portion of the U.S.
In addition, Marissa Butrum has joined the company’s sales team, following the promotion of Amanda Duncan to production manager. Butrum, working from Standard’s Indianapolis headquarters, will assume the daily duties of machine order entry and shipment coordination.
