Cycle Laundromat in Clarksville, Tenn., will team up with Manna Cafe to host a food drive on August 9-11.
The Cycle Laundromat team will host the food drive to give back to the community they serve. Those interested in participating can bring in at least four cans of food or four non-perishables to receive a free wash in any washer of their choice. All donations will go to Manna Cafe, whose volunteers will make food boxes to give to local families in need.
“Cycle Laundromat has been open for only eight months, but in that time, Clarksville has shown us so much generosity that we feel inspired to give back,” said Mark Blaine, co-owner of Cycle Laundromat. “Please join Cycle and Manna Café in saving lives by providing meals for families in need.”
“Clarksville showed up for Cycle Laundromat in a big way, and now we’re asking you to do it again for Manna Café in their fight against hunger,” added co-owner Chris Blaine.
Free washes will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
