Wash Day Laundry – through Project Laundry Love – is now offering free laundry services for those affected by the devastating floods in Wimberley, Texas, located southwest of Austin.
Until June 5, 2015, volunteers will wash, dry, fold and bag laundry with a 24-hour turnaround time. Wash Day Laundry is located in Wimberley (across from Ace Hardware) and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
In addition, a Facebook page – Wimberley Flood Laundry Relief – has been set up for anyone wishing to sign up to volunteer. Donations of laundry products also are greatly appreciated. During this time, Wash Day Laundry has discounted its rates by 50 percent, so donations will help offset those costs.
