The Star Tribune recently announced that Tumble Fresh Coin Laundries has been voted “Minnesota’s Best Laundromat,” based on the newspaper’s readers poll of top businesses throughout the state.
“More than 75 other laundromats were nominated within this category,” explained Chloe Anderson, who oversees multi-media partnerships for the Star Tribune Media Company. “During the voting period, more than 525,000 votes were cast across 300 categories, which is a testament to how customers feel about their favorite local laundromat.”
This inaugural Minnesota’s Best competition included more than 5,700 businesses, organizations and individuals, competing to be named within one of the top three spots.
“Our success was driven by our desire to build a recognizable premium brand, focused on improving the consumer experience within the laundromat industry, not on building a laundromat or even a chain of laundromats,” said Tumble Fresh founder and CEO Steve Linn. “A laundromat is simply a space within a building with equipment for washing and drying, while a brand is so much more.
“Receiving an award for being voted ‘Minnesota’s Best Laundromat’ by our many valued customers who use our facilities regularly is a tremendous honor,” Linn added. “It gives validation that our Tumble Fresh Coin Laundry brand and our outstanding team members are on the right path – providing a positive, recognizable luxury laundry day experience for our customers.”
Tumble Fresh currently has nine locations, with three more stores scheduled to open this fall.
