In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Texas Coin Laundry Association is assembling disaster relief laundry trailers for those in areas impacted by the storm. These trailers, loaded with laundry equipment, will be dispatched by the Southern Baptist Convention, which maintains a large network of disaster centers all across the U.S.
“Texas Coin Laundry Association members have gotten together and donated equipment for these trailers,” said TXCLA President David Heath. “Skyline Equipment and LG have donated six commercial dryers as part of their disaster relief initiatives. In addition, members Jeff Waggener and Rob Maes have donated LG washers and Maytag stack dryers, respectively.”
According to Heath, items still needed for the trailers include soft-mount washers and “home-style”stack dryers. Those wishing to donate can call David at (979) 574-5615.
