Software provider Wash-Dry-Fold POS recently announced that it has expanded its services to all 50 states in the U.S.
Since its inception in February 2016, Wash-Dry-Fold POS has grown rapidly, selling 124 systems in the state of Florida alone. The company has even shipped systems to the remote states of Alaska and Hawaii. However, until recently, North Dakota remained a challenging market due to the state’s limited number of laundromats.
“We’ve been wanting to sell a system in North Dakota for years,” said co-founder Ian Gollahon. “Our product only makes sense for laundromats that offer a wash-dry-fold service, but there are only a handful of these laundromats in North Dakota, and we haven’t done any outbound marketing there – so we’ve just been hoping one would come to us.”
Despite the small market size, Wash-Dry-Fold POS was able to find its first customer in North Dakota with The Bubble Laundry Company, a laundromat located in Grand Forks. Owner Casey Brovold had been in talks with Wash-Dry-Fold POS since 2019 and was excited to purchase the hardware system, along with the cloud-based software.
“We’ve grown so fast in the past three years, more than doubling our sales,” Brovold explained. “But we probably would have grown even faster if we had purchased the right tools to elevate the experience for the customers sooner rather than later.”
