Wash-Dry-Fold POS® has announced its new Attendant Checklist Feature. According to Managing Partner Ian Gollahon, it is a simple but integrated tool that is so powerful, it’ll make you wonder how you ever ran your business without it.

“You can monitor the checklist live from your phone or even check past shifts to see what tasks were missed by which employees,” he said. “The feature currently supports an opening shift, mid shift, and closing shift, plus a monthly maintenance checklist. Checklists are easy to create, monitor, and maintain.”

Gollohan said the WDF POS Attendant Checklist Feature is more than a to-do list; it’s a system designed to keep your team accountable and your laundromat clean. Some of the key features include:

  • Shift-Specific Checklists: Cover all three shifts—opening, mid-day, and closing—with tailored tasks. Clean drain traps, restock soap, and ensure the floor is mopped and the trash is out every day. Every finished task gets time-stamped by that specific employee. No excuses, no confusion. The checklist either got done or it didn’t.
  • Monthly Maintenance Checklist: Beyond daily chores, track monthly jobs like cleaning air vents, dryer gaskets, or inspecting fire extinguishers—this keeps semi-regular tasks from falling through the cracks and it allows you to track which tasks are already done and who did them.
  • Real-Time Accountability: The checklist status is always live and easy to access across your organization. View past shifts and you’ll know exactly who mopped the floor and when (or who didn’t).
  • Access Anywhere: Cloud-based and mobile-friendly, you can peek at progress from home, the store, or even vacation.

“Our team absolutely loves the new checklists feature,” Hope Dewlen said. “It automatically records the times and dates of task completion, eliminating the need for our laundry attendants to handwrite their logs. With the ability for managers to remotely access checklists across 20+ locations, we’re saving a lot of both paper and time. It’s made our process more efficient and cost-effective.”

Gollohan said the new checklist feature is live now to all WDF POS users.
