Wash-Dry-Fold POS – a provider of point-of-sale and operational management solutions for laundromats across the United States – recently partnered with on-demand delivery platform Burq, to offer laundromat owners the largest laundry delivery network in the country, according to the company. This expanded service is available at no additional cost to laundromat owners who use Wash-Dry-Fold POS.
“With Burq’s large network of delivery providers, including industry leaders like DoorDash and Uber, we now have the most comprehensive on-demand laundry delivery solution in the U.S.,” said Ian Gollahon, co-founder of Wash-Dry-Fold POS. “Our goal is to simplify the process of offering route-based and on-demand delivery services for laundromat owners. We now have access to the largest network of on-demand providers, and we offer both to our customers at a negotiated rate, without markups or hidden fees. It’s all included in our POS system, designed by laundromat owners for laundromat owners.”
This delivery service can be integrated with or without an existing route-based delivery service provided by the laundromats. Owners are able to embed a link on their websites or social platforms, allowing customers to order directly from their laundromats, without being redirected to a competitive marketplace. In addition, this new offering doesn’t lock laundromat owners into any proprietary platforms or branding from the POS company.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Wash-Dry-Fold POS to provide laundromat owners across the U.S. with access to our expansive network of delivery providers and delivery management capabilities,” said Salman Habib, co-founder of Burq. “Our mission is to offer seamless, on-demand delivery solutions that enable businesses to scale their services without added cost or complexity. By integrating with Wash-Dry-Fold POS, we’re helping laundromat owners offer a variety of easy on-demand delivery options to their customers.”
“We’ve designed this service to remove risk and effort from laundromat owners,” Gollahon added. “They maintain control over their businesses while still being able to offer as many hassle-free delivery options to their customers as possible. It’s easy to use and helps laundromats meet growing customer demand without needlessly added complexity.”
