WashClub, headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y., has announced its expansion into Florida’s Tampa Bay area. The on-demand laundry and drycleaning services provider now operates in more than 30 cities and 15 states nationwide, including two Florida locations – Miami and now the Tampa Bay region.
WashClub chose Tampa Bay as the site of its most recent expansion due to the fact that the area’s population has been growing steadily over the last few years. In addition, approximately 20 percent of the residents are under the age of 35 – the coveted, digitally savvy Millennial generation.
“WashClub offers a total solution for Tampa Bay residents who often have more laundry than time,” said Rick Rome, founder and president of WashClub. “WashClub has become the leader in the on-demand laundry and drycleaning space by providing innovative services to a highly demanding crowd, thanks to a convenient mobile app. This new opening in Tampa Bay follows a recent launch in Miami, as we continue our expansion throughout Florida. We couldn’t be more proud to be part of Tampa Bay’s exponential growth and to provide the local community with career opportunities.”
Ryan Foster, the operator of WashClub Tampa Bay, is a long-time area resident. His laundry services are now available via the WashClub mobile app or on the company’s Tampa Bay website – washclubtb.com.
“WashClub is a highly innovative company that has tremendous plans for expansion, both nationally and internationally, and I’m delighted to now be part of its success,” Foster explained. “With WashClub, we now can offer the local Tampa Bay community additional employment opportunities, as the company is committed to hiring only local residents on full-time W2 contracts.”
The company licenses its exclusive SaaS platform to laundry and drycleaning operators across the U.S. By licensing WashClub’s software, WashClubTrak, these business owners are able to serve their customers either via WashClub or through their own branded concept.
