Licensing Agreement with Wash It Kwik Brings On-Demand Pickup and Delivery to the Dallas Market
WashClub, a tech-based laundry and drycleaning company with on-demand pickup and delivery in New York City, is rolling out its services in the Dallas area through a software licensing contract with Wash It Kwik, a laundry center based in nearby Denton, Texas.
Under terms of the agreement, Wash It Kwik will enable its customers to interact online using WashClubTrak – the company’s software licensing model. Wash It Kwik will continue to operate under its present name and using its current website (washitkwik.com).
“Wash It Kwik is our first ‘white label’ licensing contract that will use our software to run its pickup and delivery services in a modern, efficient and seamless way,” said Rick Rome, founder and president of WashClub.
At Wash It Kwik, customers in Dallas and the surrounding communities will be able to arrange to have their laundry or drycleaning picked up, cleaned or pressed according to their specific needs, and then returned within 24 to 48 hours of being scheduled remotely – either through the company’s website or app.
“Between washing, drying and folding, doing laundry is a time-consuming, never-ending problem that Wash It Kwik solves,” said Wash It Kwik owner Bruce Walker. “We want to help people free up some of that time and bring laundry into the 21st century. Now you can have your laundry and drycleaning done to your specifications without ever leaving the comfort of your home.”
“WashClub’s software enables owners of laundromats and drycleaners to successfully compete online against third-party operators in the laundry and drycleaning industry by extending their storefront 30 miles in every direction,” Rome added.
Since 2010, WashClub has built a clientele of more than 10,000 in New York City and is now growing its branded model across the country. The company recently launched WashClub Long Island and WashClub Penn-Jersey, which serves Mercer County, N.J., and Bucks County, Pa.
