WaveMAX Laundry, headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., recently announced that it has signed agreements to bring two new locations to the Arizona cities of Scottsdale and Mesa by the first quarter of next year.

In addition, the company – which has already opened three laundromats in the Phoenix metro area since last September – has revealed plans to open as many as 10 additional locations in the state over the next three to five years, according to franchising.com.

“Our team is looking to change the way people think of laundromats,” said Mike Roberts, CEO of WaveMAX. “We’re raising the industry standard by bringing some much-needed innovation and modernization to the sector. Through our focus on service and technology, our goal is to improve the overall experience for our customers and provide them peace of mind, as their clothes are cleaned effectively and efficiently in a safe environment. We look forward to expanding our footprint to serve even more communities in the Phoenix area.”

“Everything we offer is created with our customers in mind,” explained Craig Sawyers, who owns and operates two of the three existing Phoenix-area WaveMAX locations. “Between our efficient equipment, our drop-off services and our use of technology, we are changing the perception of vended laundry. Plus, all of these services provide customers with an awesome experience and that keeps them coming back.”

Currently, there are 18 WaveMAX locations open and operating in six states, with nearly 100 additional locations in various stages of development across the U.S. Founded in 2012 and franchising since 2017, the company’s national expansion strategy is also targeting such states as California, Colorado and Texas.
