The Coin Laundry Association, in partnership with its Texas affiliate, will hold a New Laundry Investor Workshop on April 22 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
This educational event – scheduled to run from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – will cover all of the industry basics a potential investor would need to consider. The program will feature:
• “Today’s Self-Service Laundry Opportunities,” presented by CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace – As a leader in the laundry industry for more than 20 years, Wallace has worked with thousands of potential store owners and shared the secrets to success. In this session, he will offer attendees an overview of the current industry trends and opportunities.
• “Finding the Right Location for Your Laundry,” presented by CLA Chief Operating Officer Michael Sokolowski – With several years of experience as a laundry operator in the Chicago market, perhaps no one is better qualified to discuss the importance of site selection and demographic analysis. Sokolowski will discuss how to evaluate locations and choose a site that’s ready for profitability.
• “Ten Keys to Laundromat Success: What You Need to Know Today,” presented by Texas multi-store owner Rob Maes – Less than 10 years ago, Maes attended his first CLA workshop for new investors. He parlayed that educational opportunity into two successful laundry locations in Houston. Maes will share his personal experiences, as well as what it takes to be profitable in today’s vended laundry business.
• “Show Me the Money: Financing Your Laundry Project,” presented by Eastern Funding Executive Vice President Brian Grell – Few people possess Grell’s combination of financial background and laundry expertise. In his nearly 30 years in the laundry business, Grell has arranged financing for hundreds of successful laundries. He will spell out exactly how to take a project from an idea to a fully funded laundry investment.
• “Ask Us Anything: A Q&A Session with the Laundry Pros” – For those who may still have questions related to their first laundry project, this closing session will bring back all of the workshop’s presenters – and a few special guests – to make sure all questions are answered.
