The Clean Show, which was held June 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, celebrated its 40th anniversary this year – and 12,563 attendees joined the party. In addition, the show’s exhibit floor was sold out at 227,006 net square feet, representing the largest square footage since Clean ’07, which also was held in Las Vegas.Compared with Clean 2015, registration was up from 11,264, and exhibit space was up from 197,400.Attendees came from around the world to see the latest and greatest that the laundry industry has to offer. International attendees numbered 2,271, representing 96 countries outside the U.S.Also, nearly all of the event’s 22 educational sessions, spanning more than 25 hours of leading edge content, were filled to capacity. The sessions, sponsored by industry trade associations, were presented by experts in all facets of the textile care industry.The biennial Clean Show is the world’s largest exhibition of textile care products featuring working equipment. It is sponsored by five national industry associations: the Coin Laundry Association, the Association for Linen Management, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.Clean 2019 is scheduled for June 20-23, 2019, in New Orleans, while the 2021 event will be held in Atlanta.
