Atlantic Laundry Equipment, The Laundry Shop Added to the Manufacturer’s Distribution Network
Continental Girbau, Inc. has partnered with two new vended laundry distributors – Atlantic Laundry Equipment in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and The Laundry Shop in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Both companies will represent the ExpressWash, ExpressDry, L-Series washer, G-Flex washer, Econ-O-Wash, Econ-O-Dry and LG Platinum washer/dryer lines, as well as the Express Laundry Center brand.
Originally established in 1943 as Harold Snow Service Group – a commercial food and laundry sales, parts and service provider – Atlantic Laundry Equipment became a separate brand focused solely on commercial laundry in 2014. A one-stop shop for parts, equipment, service and support, Atlantic Laundry Equipment provides Continental vended and on-premises laundry equipment throughout the provinces of Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Led by President Trevor Melendy, the Canadian distributorship offers 24/7 emergency service and personal customer care.
“While the Atlantic Laundry Equipment name is relatively new, its service to customers in the vended laundry industry isn’t,” said Joel Jorgensen, Continental’s vice president of sales and customer services. “The Atlantic Laundry team is highly experienced and responsive, offering high-caliber vended laundry expertise.”
The Laundry Shop, co-owned by Ron Jansen and George Rionda, provides vended and on-premises laundry equipment, sales, parts and service to the Florida counties of Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie. The company specializes in developing Express Laundry Centers – Continental’s turnkey vended laundry program. The distributor partners with investors and owners of vended laundries in every aspect of development or renovation, including construction, equipment selection and installation, laundry design, marketing, service, parts, and more.
