WaveMAX Laundry – a vended laundry franchisor based in Jacksonville, Fla., currently with 16 laundromat locations across multiple states – is looking to aggressively boost its share of the market.
The brand has an additional 24 locations under development and nearly 50 others under contract, with at least 15 of those locations are expected to open by the end of the year, according to the company.
“A laundromat should be more than just a means to an end for visitors,” said WaveMAX CEO Mike Roberts. “It can be a satisfying, productive experience that creates positive memories and encourages loyal, repeat customers. Our innovative service model, eco-friendly machines and industry-leading technology is elevating the customer experience beyond a frequent errand, and we look forward to bringing that experience to even more markets all across the country.”
At WaveMAX locations, customers can do their own laundry or take advantage of the store’s wash-dry-fold service.
“Our locations provide customers with a clean, well-maintained space and a friendly staff,” Roberts explained. “Everything we offer – from our efficient equipment to our drop-off service to our revolutionary use of technology – is created with our customers in mind and gives them an awesome laundry experience that keeps them coming back.”
To augment the company’s growth, WaveMAX Laundry is actively seeking single and multi-store operators. Dennis Mulgannon of Franchise Scale is overseeing franchise development for the company.
Founded in 2012 and franchising since 2017, WaveMAX Laundry currently operates in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas and Tennessee.
