Commercial and industrial laundry equipment manufacturer Girbau has appointed Serge Joris as the company’s new president.
Joris’ professional career spans more than 25 years of working internationally in key roles at companies in the technology and industry sectors. His appointment comes as a result of a drive to bolster the management team at Girbau and to promote growth, according to the company.
Pere Girbau and Mercè Girbau, the current CEOs and the third generation in the family business headquartered in Vic, Spain, will remain in their current roles – focusing on developing strategy, new technologies, innovation and sustainability.
Girbau is the parent company of Girbau North America, which is the largest of 16 subsidiaries within the Girbau Group. Girbau laundry products are marketed throughout 100 countries worldwide.
