The inaugural Laundry CEO Forum – organized by laundry owners and operators Waleed Cope and Jessica Johnson-Cope – will be held August 7-9, 2024, at the Omni Frisco Star in Frisco, Texas. The event is designed to promote growth, innovation, and leadership in the garment-care industry. With a strong emphasis on community engagement, it will bring together industry experts, business leaders, and aspiring entrepreneurs for three days of learning and collaboration.

One of the speakers will be renowned marketing strategist and author Marcus Sheridan, whose presentation will provide insights into utilizing AI for customer engagement and innovative marketing strategies. Attendees can look forward to gaining practical knowledge that will empower them to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving laundry market.

Other notable presenters will include Jim Keyes, former CEO of 7-Eleven Inc. and Blockbuster Inc.; CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace; and Ross Dodds, founder of Wash Club LA.

Jessica Johnson-Cope, leader of Johnson Security Bureau and co-founder of The Soap Box, has built a legacy of safeguarding valuable assets and advocating for women’s empowerment and small businesses. Waleed Cope, a second-generation garment-care professional and CEO of The Soap Box, also founded Wash Weekly, a newsletter providing fresh insights for entrepreneurs in garment care. Together, they lead the Laundry CEO Forum initiative to cultivate an environment for innovation and industry advancement.

“Laundry CEO is our opportunity to create a space where industry professionals can connect, learn, and ultimately lead the way in transforming their businesses,” said Waleed Cope. “We’re excited to offer this platform that nurtures entrepreneurial success and collaboration.”
