Laundry Owners Warehouse recently donated a Dexter dryer to an orphanage in Haiti. The orphanage is part of the Global Vision Citadelle Ministries, which is a faith-based organization that provides for the needy and suffering within this economically and socially challenged region.
Although Laundry Owners Warehouse found out about the GVCM only recently, the company’s management team made the unanimous decision to lend a helping hand. As a result, the Florida-based distributorship has donated a commercial-grade Dexter dryer to the organization’s orphanage, which will no doubt help to improve the quality of life in a region where hygiene has long been a top concern. With the proper equipment to do laundry, this issue can be greatly minimized.
“The story of GVCM is the stuff dreams are made of,” said Joshua Prager, owner of Laundry Owners Warehouse. “Two men shared a vision to find out God’s will for them and that has turned into a full-fledged ministry, which has helped countless individuals in the area. One cannot help but be impressed, and this is why we decided to help.
“We hope our donation in some small way helps GVCM carry out its mission.”
Global Vision Citadelle Ministries provide shelter and comfort to those in need, operating a variety of projects for social development and support in the region. To contact GVCM or to make a donation, visit: gvcm.org.
