Mountain Electronics, headquartered in Burnsville, N.C., has acquired ALJ Electronics/ALJCO.
“Al Johnson, founder of ALJ Electronics in the 1980s, was a pioneer in the laundry electronics repair industry,” according to a statement released by Mountain Electronics. “The Mountain Electronics team is excited and honored to continue the legacy of quality repairs and excellent service that the Johnson family maintained for so long.”
Mountain Electronics has been repairing circuit boards for the commercial laundry industry since 1999. The company remanufactures circuit boards from every major manufacturer serving the industry and for nearly every model of machine and card reader.
According to Mountain Electronics, each board gets washed, and any parts that tend to fail are removed and replaced – and then a trained technician performs final testing, diagnostics and repairs.
Mountain Electronics customers range from laundromat owners to route operators and multi-housing laundry companies. In addition, the company boasts a large inventory of refurbished boards and new parts.
